SMS opt-in & consent
How members agree to receive verification texts.
Offscreen uses SMS only to deliver one-time passcodes (OTP) that let a member sign in and secure their account. There is no marketing or promotional messaging.
How a member opts in
Opt-in happens inside the Offscreen mobile app on the sign-in screen. The member types their own mobile number and taps “Send code.” Taking that action is the member's express consent to receive a verification code by SMS. Immediately below the button, the app shows this disclosure:
By tapping “Send code,” you agree to receive a one-time verification code by SMS from Offscreen. Message and data rates may apply; you’ll get one message per sign-in request. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Message type: One-time passcodes (account sign-in / 2FA)
Message frequency: One message per sign-in request

Help and opt-out
For help, reply HELP to any message or email info@nomorescreen.com. To stop messages, reply STOP. Because these texts are sign-in codes, opting out means you will no longer be able to receive the code needed to log in.
