What we collect, and why.

Your privacy is core to how Offscreen works. We collect only what we need to make good introductions and keep the community safe, and we never sell your personal data. Offscreen is operated by NoMoreScreen.

What we collect

Your phone number, to sign you in and text your code. Profile details you provide — name, age, interests, availability, neighborhood, and photos. A verification photo, used only to confirm you are a real person. Basic usage data, such as which introductions you accept or pass, to improve future matches.

How we use it

We use your information to create daily introductions, choose places and activities, keep meetups safe, and notify you about new plans. We do not run an ad network and we do not sell your data to third parties.

What we share

When you match, the other person sees the profile details you chose to share — never your phone number, home address, or exact location. Meetups always happen at a public place we pick.

Text messages (SMS)

We use your phone number to send one-time sign-in codes and other account-related messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency depends on how often you sign in.

No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS opt-in or consent — will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. Note that opting out means we can no longer send the codes you need to sign in.

Your control

You can edit your profile any time, and you can delete your account from the app. Deleting removes your account, profile, and sign-in on your device.
